Last Tuesday, Meris has partnered up with Eat Up Organisation to host a sandwich making event, which did not only serves the purpose of charity, but was also a great opportunity for team Meris to bond with their colleagues as well as suppliers through the teamwork exercise.
Meris was grateful to have the present of Ritchies, Foodworks, Coles and Blinks, who have given us their time and effort to join the charity session and together produced over 1400 sandwiches. Which will be delivered to less privilege school all across the state of Victoria, helping to get lunch to children who would not have gotten a meal otherwise.
Although the amount of sandwiches we contribute is limited, we are honoured to join Eat Up on their journey of raising awareness for children suffering from food insecurity. And we hope to have more collaborations with the organisation in the future.
