IGA Maleny, Queensland

Sam and Rob Outridge are real trail blazers in independent supermarket retailing. They run a thriving IGA in Maleny, located on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.

We first met them at a Metcash conference in around 2012. The couple visited our stand and were impressed with the quality output and ease of the Perfect Fryer. They quickly decided to install a machine in their supermarket deli.

We provided Sam and Rob with some example menus from which they were able to identify food products they could source easily. Due to their remote location, we provided instruction and technical support over the phone to get that first machine up and running.

The Outridges experienced strong hot food sales from the outset. Sales surged again after a renovation of their deli space. They have gone on to purchase another two Perfect Fryers.
